Who we are

Tecumsah Shackelford comes from a hair care family. True hair care and Nail care has now become her professional life. Well versed in hair care, her mother and grandmother healthily managed her full head of lustrous, silky, thick curls. Her 1st tragic hair experience happened
in junior high school. A hairdresser did her hair from 7th grade to 8th grade and damaged it beyond normal repair. The length of her hair drastically changed from mid-length flowing of her back to a bob.
This tragic event started Tecumsah on hair care research and reconstruction of her own hair. She implemented scalp treatments etc. and soon her hair started growing and showing signs of restoration.
It was at that moment when she decided to pursue a professional license in hair and nail care and artistry.

Tecumsah graduated from Citrus College School of Beauty Pivot Point Program and has been practicing licensed hair care since 2007. She has taught incoming beauty students at Marinello in Chemistry, bacteriology and anatomy.

Some of her awards include 2008 1st Place winner Burbank Mariott Student team competition Barrista Productions Hair Show), 2010 Free Mynds Entertainment Hair and Make-Up Specialist, Beauty Bar Specialist at 2013 Hoodie Awards where she did Erica Campbell’s Gel nails before her performance, and 2nd place winner in NappyWood LA Contest.

Her motto is “Let me do your hair a favor”. She is truly a Hair specialist focused on hair care, hair artistry, and beyond.
